"BläserKlasse Globus" takes young musicians from the rehearsal room into the wide world: Through all five continents they travel from America via Europe to Japan and Africa and finally to the kangaroos in Australia.
As souvenirs, the travellers take impressions of the sound worlds in the various regions with them. Familiar clues are well-known melodies that ring through here and there, such as the well-known song from the bridge in Avignon. Various genres are touched, including variations, suites and medleys.
These pieces do not only bring a lot of variety into playing, but they are also arranged in such a way that they refer exactly to the learning progress in Essential Elements 1 and 2, the complete method for teaching music in schools and wind orchestras. The corresponding chapters in Essential Elements are listed in the table of contents in the score. But also independently of Essential Elements, the arrangements ordered in increasing degrees of difficulty offer varied playing material for wind classes and youth wind orchestras.
Once the pieces have been rehearsed in class, a colourful, scenic concert can be prepared under the motto "World Tour". Fun, learning success, sense of achievement and the resulting motivation go hand in hand!
Very useful for getting to know and rehearsing the arrangements in "BläserKlasse Globus" is the separately available CD with complete orchestral recordings of all pieces.
