Franco Battiato was an italian songwriter, composer, musician, film director and painter. The artist made people talk about him for the great number of musical genres that he deepened and combined with each other in an eclectic and personal way. From the album L'era del cinghiale bianco (1979), he moved away from experimental music and towards a very personal pop d'autore that began to make him known to the public and subsequently sell millions of copies. This collection of 30 songs in melodic line, lyrics and chords contains greatest hits of his amazing career.
