Chansonnier

for Flute, Clarinet and Harp. The title Chansonnier is a French word which refers to any collection of medieval manuscripts containing songs of troubadours. The titles of the movements are derived from these medieval songs (Bergerette, Lyrica, Ballata) An early music sound inspired by the combination of harp and winds was the underlying origin of each movement. Catherine's lyrical writing is a wonderful addition to the chamber music repertoire. The Clarinet part can be played by either a B-flat or A Clarinet.
