The Second Organ Booklet contains works by Romantic music composers. The beginning of organ romantic music dates back to Mendelssohn. In the following decades F. Liszt, C. Franck and M. Reger enriched it with their compositions. But this is already the neo-Romantic period.
The organs of those times lose their former specific sound qualities and try to resemble an orchestra, imitating its instruments. This booklet is primarily intended for use by students of organ classes in music schools. However, due to its artistic value, each of the works placed here can also be included in the concert repertoire.
