Waterscape

Waterscape was composed in 1998. It is the reflection of my recollections of one and the same permanently repeated scene of a flowing and evanescent picture. In spite of the minimal musical means I used in this score, I suppose a performer looking for various colors of the palette might focus on the romantic mood. Waterscape is dedicated to, and written especially for the outstanding French harpist Helvia Briggen whom I met in 1998 on the occasion of the 13th International Harp Contest in Jerusalem as she has very successfully played my required piece Sonata in 3 Visions for Harp solo and as to me she has been among the winners of the Contest.
